Just a thought I had today - maybe to make updating a little more in-line with modern ways, you could come up with a way to allow pro users to update via composer.

This saves the manual copy and paste and it means you can run just one command line to handle it. Maybe generate SSH/token key for Koolreport pro github private repo for each user that has bought it - this can nicely be embedded onto the "My Licenses" page and generated for that user.
